Singapore Maritime Port Authority (MPA) entrusted LATTICE with providing an optimized tank design for its new class of hydrographic vessels responsible for surveying the ever-changing sedimentary conditions in- and around the port of Singapore – one of the busiest in the world. The increased volumetric capacity of the vessel’s LNG fuel tank using an LPV over any conventional solution implies that it may conduct longer, uninterrupted sweeps and limit its downtime for refueling.

  • LPV tank design features unique triangular shape for optimal fit in the ship’s aft section – rather than occupying space on ship’s deck as with a comparable cylindrical tank
  • Tank-in-tank vacuum insulation system using perlite
  • Internal LATTICE structure reduces sloshing and free-surface effect
  • Certified by Bureau Veritas
